One of the current business driver in Inforamtion Technology is surely Integration. As always in IT, we have different ways of achieving Integration. I am not that aware of JBI and it's related standards, but definitely the standards/specifications in the SOA domain has to evolve and freeze, before something really happens in the SOA world.

I liked the analysis of ServiceMix and Synapse, more food for thought on the ESB:).
